Professional Dean, Dyson College of Arts and Sciences and School of Education
Pace University invites nominations for and applications from individuals in assuming a leadership opportunity as the Inaugural Dean of the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Education.
Reporting to the Provost/Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean serves as the chief academic officer for the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Education. The Dean articulates and nurtures the three hallmarks of the academy: teaching/learning, research/creative activity, and service. To this end, the Dean cultivates a supportive environment for faculty, students, and staff with a focus on recruiting and retaining excellent students and faculty. The Dean participates in developing programs and activities that generate revenue, and advances development to procure funding to support initiatives and programs. The Dean works closely with faculty to offer strategic vision, dynamic leadership, and support for all Dyson College of Arts and Sciences and School of Education constituencies.
