Faculty Assistant Professor – Non-Tenure Track, Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship

The Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at Kent State University invites applications for a non-tenure track (NTT) Assistant Professor position beginning January or August 2023.

This is a continuous, renewable position with a primary emphasis on teaching and some research and service expectations.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

The successful candidate will teach upper division undergraduate and MBA Marketing courses depending on the candidate’s area of specialty and departmental needs (e.g., International Marketing, Brand Management, Marketing Management, and Marketing Strategy). The candidate may be required to deliver courses in-person, online, or in a distance learning format.

The successful candidate may also serve as department Ph.D. coordinator.

Minimum qualifications: Candidates must have a DBA or Ph.D. in Marketing by the start of their appointment at Kent State University.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference for candidates who can start in January 2023. A Ph.D. in Marketing is preferred.
