Faculty Assistant Professor (Clinician Educator Track), Implementation Science – CHOP
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical research focused on promoting the mental health of youth within a school setting, including acquiring external, federal funding and publishing in high impact journals. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree. Licensed to practice Psychology within the state of PA.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and mentoring students, trainees, fellows, residents, and interns.
Clinical responsibilities may include clinical services, such as providing evidence-based interventions for youth in schools and group parent training for families in the Center for ADHD Management.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include collaborative and investigator-led clinical research in pediatric mental health; development of a research program involving implementation science and school-based research, specifically targeting strategies to promote the use of effective school-based interventions focused on child and adolescent mental health.
