Assistant/ Associate or Full Professor of Clinical Dental Anesthesiology (AC Track)
The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Periodontics and Division of Pediatric Dentistry, invites applications for a full-time dental anesthesiology position available at the Assistant/ Associate or Full Professor level of Clinical Dental Anesthesiology (AC Track). Responsibilities include: clinical and didactic instruction of specialty residents and dental students in techniques of anesthesiology and sedation; anesthetic management of patients with special health care needs, and clinical management of other patients who require sedative and/or anesthetic interventions.
Preferred qualifications for this position are: (1) DMD/DDS degree; (2) certificate of advanced training in an Advanced General Dentistry Education Program in Dental Anesthesiology; (3) board eligibility or Board Certification from the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology; (4) eligibility to practice dentistry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; (5) experience in the anesthetic management of patients with special health care needs.
