The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of gastrointestinal and liver pathology is required. Familiarity with EHR technology and systems strongly recommended. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
Teaching responsibilities may include residents, fellows and medical students.
Clinical responsibilities may include signout in surgical pathology with a focus in gastrointestinal pathology, autopsy coverage, frozen sections and evening call.
