Faculty AC Track Faculty Position, GI Oncology
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of gastrointestinal cancers. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification in internal medicine and oncology is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents and medical students. The successful candidates will have clinical and teaching experience in the area of gastrointestinal cancers.
Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients with gastrointestinal cancers. Participation in clinical trials is an important part of this role.
The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per/year of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.
