Faculty CE Faculty Position in Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Division
The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Applicants should be board certified in pulmonary and critical care.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents, fellows and advanced practitioners within the Health System and VA Medical Center. Selected candidates will be expected to participate as an active member of Penn Graduate Programs based on his/her research focus.
Clinical responsibilities may include attending on a busy clinical inpatient practice and critical care unit.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include developing a clinical and/or translational research program.
Candidates should have a productive track record during post-doctoral research training and an ability to perform collaborative, interdisciplinary and patient-oriented outcomes of health services research.
