Obstetrics and Gynecology
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Teaching responsibilities may include an active role in the training of medical students, residents and fellows including participation in the formal curriculum.
Clinical responsibilities may include complex Family Planning, ambulatory gynecology, surgical gynecology, coverage of gynecology residents.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include translational and/or clinical research in family planning and pregnancy loss. Individuals with an interest in a mentored research experience may be candidates for a Women’s Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) or BIRWCH career development award.
Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates must be board certified or active candidates for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and have completed subspecialty training in family planning.
