Faculty Professor, Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery- AC Track
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of allergy and rhinology with a focus on Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board eligible or Board certified in Allergy/Immunology is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include the clinical care to support the multidisciplinary Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease (AERD) Center in the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM). The goal of this position is to work closely with the rhinologists in our department to provide adjunctive aspirin desensitization therapy to patients that suffer from asthma, nasal polyps and an allergic sensitivity to aspirin. The selected applicant will serve as the Director of the Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease (AERD) Center.
