Faculty Philadelphia VA Medical Center Faculty Position – Senior Ranks
The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of genitourinary cancers. Successful candidates must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in supporting cancer clinical research, conducting of cancer clinical trials, education, clinical care and have strong leadership skills.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, housestaff and fellows. Applicants should excel as educators and specifically have teaching experience in the area of genitourinary cancers.
Clinical responsibilities may include diagnosis and care of patients with genitourinary cancers.
Applicants must have an M.D. degree.
The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.
