Faculty Research Assistant Professor, General Internal Medicine
The Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure research track. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include conducting and supporting health services and health policy research using the methods of statistics, sociology, demography, econometrics, or related disciplines that ultimately will be funded with external grants. Candidates should be skilled in advanced statistical techniques appropriate for the understanding of the interplay of social forces on health and health care. Examples include spatial statistics, hierarchical modeling, demography, and econometrics.
Selected candidates may be required to mentor students and residents within the University.
