Faculty Urologic Surgeon-Educator
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of general urology, with experience in minimally invasive surgery welcome but not required. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Urology or eligible for such certification.
Teaching responsibilities may include education of medical students and urology residents in the operating room, in the outpatient clinic and on inpatient rounds.
Clinical responsibilities may include surgical and non-surgical care of patients (male and female) with general urological complaints.
The clinical practice for this position will be housed primarily at Pennsylvania Hospital, the nation’s oldest and a full member of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Applicants shall have demonstrated expertise in all areas of outpatient and inpatient urology.
