Faculty Lecturer – Marketing (Part Time or Full Time), Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business
The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a part time (at least 0.75 FTE) or full time (1.00 FTE) Lecturer fixed-term renewable position in Marketing to commence in January 2022.
Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s Degree in Business or closely related field specializing in Marketing, Retail Management or an allied area. Required qualifications also include active professional engagement in Marketing or Retail Management practice along with a strong interest in teaching courses in Marketing or related areas. Preferred qualifications include prior teaching experience in Marketing, Sales, or Retail Management, with expertise in areas such as product promotion, sales management, or retail math. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in business and or industry related work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work collegially and collaboratively within the University are a plus.
The primary responsibilities in this position will be to provide teaching excellence for three (0.75 FTE) to four (1.0 FTE) courses or their equivalence each semester for the Fall and Spring academic semesters at the Lubar School. Additionally, the selected candidate will contribute to the mission of the Lubar School by providing service to the area, School, and University. To support Lubar School’s AACSB accreditation, the candidate must continue to be involved in the Marketing industry through outside consulting work or other employment or service work in the field in addition to teaching for the Lubar School of Business.
